As anyone with an internet connection and a penchant for European cars knows, hill climbs are a hotbed of hot rodding full of wild cars that we often don’t get to see here. And as wild as the cars are, the things their owners do to them are even wilder.
Case in point, this Quattro S1 that’s had a 3.6-liter V8 with two turbochargers stuffed into it. The combinations means that this monstrous engine with its rats nest of piping makes 991 hp according to the video’s uploader.
Up top, meanwhile, it’s all tube frames and brand new suspension parts. In all, the uploader says the build took seven years to finish, and the result is an outstanding ode to wide-body extravagance.
The video is mostly made up of still shots, which I normally object to, but the there are enough shots of the car in action, as well as some good dyno shots to hold my interest.
