Production of the much-anticipated Mustang Mach-E electric crossover has been delayed a bit by the coronavirus pandemic, but thanks to XR we don’t have to wait to see what Ford’s newest pony will look like in our driveways. Open this article on your phone, and the Mach-E will be transported to your space. Tap the photo icon and you can even snap pics. In desktop mode, you can explore every angle of the vehicle with your mouse and read the key vehicle stats.

On desktop, use your mouse to zoom and rotate the object in 3D; on mobile, place the object in your space, use your fingers to resize and rotate in augmented reality.

How to get the most out of this XR guide:

The 3D experience can be viewed on both mobile (optimal experience) and desktop.

For mobile:

Open the article. Click on “View in 3D”

Tap on the camera icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser

Press “allow” (three times)

Place the object in your space, use your fingers to resize and rotate in augmented reality. Go outside and see how the Mach-E looks in your driveway. If you have enough room you can walk around the vehicle.

To take a photo of what you’re seeing, tap on the screen and a camera icon will appear

Click the audio icon in the upper right of the screen to unmute and hear more about the Mach-E
