Today we bring you the first
of what we believe is the electric
Taycan Sport Turismo, a wagon version of
upcoming
. With the minimal amount of camouflage on this tester, it looks like Porsche wasn’t ready for our spy shooter to catch it. We saw the
Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo Concept
at the
earlier this year, but this particular vehicle looks a lot more car-like than the higher riding Cross Turismo. The shape is significantly different than the Cross Turismo, and it also drops the plastic cladding around the wheel wells.
This car’s shape and design language is extremely similar to the Taycan Concept, and we absolutely love how it looks. There’s definitely a fair amount of
feel in there, but this car comes off as even more wagon-like. You can see the fake exhaust vents plastered on the rear of the car — these look similar to the ones Porsche has used on the Taycan sedan throughout its testing. Upon closer examination of the frontal area, you can see what appears to be a camera and and some sort of radar sensor. We’d imagine this
will have some form of advanced semi-autonomous system on it when it comes out.
Porsche doesn’t appear to be wasting any time in development for a second electric car — we didn’t even know this one was coming, but the spy shots don’t lie. One of the differences between these Sport Turismo shots and the
is the charging port. On the sedan it was on the passenger side of the car, while this car has it on the driver’s side. However, it still looks quite unfinished with the silver trim encroaching on the flap. Of course, Porsche isn’t talking about this unannounced car yet, but we hope to see more of the sweet shooting brake shape soon.
