Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL), report today sales of 830 units for the month of April 2017. A 10% increase over the same period last year marks the strongest single month in Porsche Cars Canada’s history. This figure not only represents a 10% increase compared to the same time last year, it also marks the strongest single sales month in PCL history.
Cayenne and Macan sales made up more than 75% of total deliveries with 203 and 407 units, respectively. 911, Boxster and Cayman sales were all strong, but down from last year’s numbers by as much as half (at least for the Cayman). This is one trend we hope to see reversed over the coming weeks and months as we get further into Spring and warmer weather.
“Porsche sports cars made a statement globally in April when the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman were awarded World Performance Car of the Year at the New York International Auto Show. There, we also held the North American reveal of the highly anticipated new 911 GT3 which, for the first time, is available with a choice of transmission,” said Alexander Pollich, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “The excitement helped contribute to our best month ever of sales in Canadian history.”
Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned sales reached 179 units, passing the previous best April result of 155 units, established last year.
