Nearly a month after the German car maker admitted that 11 million of its diesel cars are equipped with sophisticated software designed to cheat U.S. emissions tests, VW is rethinking its diesel strategy and looking at new markets. Moving forward, diesel is not going away, but Volkswagen will swap out existing emissions-testing systems for diesel drives with SCR and AdBlue technology in Europe and North America.
