In the extraordinarily competitive truck market, we’ve found
the Nissan Titan to be just adequate
. But at least
one issue we’ve had with the truck
is being addressed for the 2019 model year: the infotainment. Every version of the truck, even the barebones work truck
S, will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. And more important, it will come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
For buyers of King Cab and Crew Cab Titans, there’s also a new sound system upgrade available. It’s a 485-watt system from Panasonic and Fender with 10 speakers in the King Cab and 12 in the Crew Cab. It’s a standard feature on all Crew Cab
and Platinum trim levels and an option on Pro-4X models with either a King Cab or Crew Cab.
The new model year and features also come with slightly higher prices. Pricing on every trim and powertrain combination is not yet available, but base prices for each engine option are. The regular-cab Titan S with two-wheel drive and the gasoline V8 now starts at $31,785, an increase of $360. The
S with the same cab and powertrain starts at $34,065, an increase of $380. The diesel Titan XD S rounds out the pricing at $39,665, which at $
is the largest increase over the 2018 model.
