2007 BMW X# ABS and Traction control light coming on

We have seen several BMW X3’s come with the ABS and traction control light on.  In some cases the clutch’s in the transfer case are slipping and need to be replaced.

In many cases the gear in the transfer case motor needs to be replaced and transfer case oil needs to be changed.  Which means a $500 repair instead of a $2000 repair.

In some cases the clutch’s will start to slip in the near future but for the the price difference it is worth the gamble.
