The Grand Tour Season 3 features more drifting, crashes, and American muscle

The winter months make it difficult to enjoy the automotive adventures, but

The Grand Tour

is returning just in time to help curb those cravings until the weather gets nicer. Prime Video just released the first trailer for Season 3, and it’s full of James May’s,

Richard Hammond

‘s, and

Jeremy Clarkson’s

typical shenanigans.

Following the announcement of a

tie-in video game

, Amazon has revealed the new season of the show will begin January 11th, later than the previously expected December release time. Hammond, Clarkson, and May remain the trio of hosts, with driving specialist Abbie Eaton seemingly returning as well.

The preview opens with Hammond crossing a rickety wooden bridge seemingly in the middle of the jungle in an old lifted pickup when the truck stalls out.

The Grand Tour

would be nothing if not all of its high-intensity, stomach-clenching moments, so it’s good to see it’s sticking to its roots. Oh, and of course there are plenty of explosions, too.

Several notable cars that appear in the brief trailer include the
