2018 RS5 Coupe Will Cost £62,900 in the UK

Audi UK has announced pricing for the 2018 Audi Sport RS5, and it starts at £62,900. Brits, among others, will be able to order the RS5 Coupe later this month while deliveries will start this summer.
The new RS5 was first revealed in Geneva alongside its DTM racing sister, which will race for the first time this weekend in Germany.
The RS5 Coupe comes with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces about 450 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. The new car’s weight drops by 60 kg (about 130 lbs) and comes with an optional carbon fiber roof, to lower the center of gravity.
The RS5 coupe also comes with Audi’s laudable virtual cockpit that has special screens designed especially for its performance.
Power is, naturally, routed to all four wheels. With wheel-selective torque vectoring, though, power is always sent to the wheel that can most use it, improving handling and control.
While only UK pricing has been announced, it does hint at how much the car will cost in other markets. Some very quick, back-of-the-envelope math based on price differentials in other Audi models, suggests that the RS5 should cost about $78,000 in the US.
